Last week Lamborghini took the wraps off the Aventador SVJ and this shouldn’t be a really big surprise, but Lamborghini is working on an Aventador SVJ Roadster. An official document from the California Air Resources Board has surfaced and it confirms the new roadster will arrive in 2019.

According to the document, the California Air Resources Board signed an executive order on a few days ago that certifies four Lamborghini models for 2019: the Aventador S Coupe, the Aventador S Roadster, the Aventador SVJ Coupe, and the Aventador SVJ Roadster.

We don’t know when Lamborghini will unveil the Aventador SVJ Roadster, but it will likely get the same 770-hp 6.5-liter V12 as the coupe. The Aventador SVJ Coupe can reach 62 mph in only 2.8 seconds and it recently set a Nürburgring-Nordschleife lap record for production cars at 6:44.97 minutes.

Expect the Aventador SVJ Roadster to be even more pricey than the Aventador SVJ Coupe, which starts at $517,770.
