We’re now just a day away from the kick off of the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. We’ve already seen some of the big news, like the Ford Mustang Mach-E, but there’s still a lot that we don’t know about yet. For example, Kia has released a teaser of a new SUV that it plans to reveal at the show.
From this teaser, it appears that Kia is going to reveal the US-spec version of the new Seltos compact SUV. The 2020 Seltos was unveiled earlier this year for what Kia dubbed as “youthful, tech-savvy buyers.” In other markets the Seltos is offered with three powertrain options, a 175-hp 1.6-liter T-GDI turbocharged gasoline engine, a 147-hp 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a 134-hp 1.6-liter diesel engine. If the Seltos does actually come to the US, we can expect it to not be offered with the diesel engine.
