Jeep hasn’t officially announced the pricing for the 2020 Wrangler EcoDiesel, but the pricing for the diesel-powered Wrangler has leaked.

JL Wrangler Forum is reporting that Jeep dealers have notified potential buyers about the Wrangler EcoDiesel, which will be available with a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 for an extra $6,000. The leak also shows that the diesel engine will only be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you break down the pricing, the diesel engine upgrade is $4,000, while the automatic transmission adds another $2,000.

If you want to compare it to the 3.6L V6 powered Wrangler with an automatic transmission, the Wrangler EcoDiesel costs $3,250.

Either way, the good news is that the diesel engine generates 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft. of torque, but we have yet to hear how fuel efficient it is.
