Jeep may not offer a seven passenger SUV in North America, but our friends in China will soon get one. Jeep is getting ready to introduce a new seven passenger model in China, called the Grand Commander. Jeep hasn’t unveiled all the information yet, but we do have a new batch of photos.
The Jeep Grand Commander borrows styling cues from the Grand Cherokee. At the front it’s look is similar, although a bit more squared off than the Grand Cherokee, while its profile is a bit more elongated, due to the stretched wheelbase.
Jeep has yet to reveal the Grand Commander, so we don’t know what will power it, although Jeep’s Chinese website does mention a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder.
