Jaguar has unveiled the 2018 Jaguar XJR575, which is a high-performance version of the XJ flagship sedan. Compared to the XJR, the 2018 XJR575 has an additional 25 horsepower for a total 575-hp and 517 lb-ft. of torque that give it a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a 186 mph top speed.

The XJR575 is powered by the same 5.0L supercharged V8 that is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. An electronic differential helps balance the power that is only sent to the rear wheels.

Compared to the lesser powered XJR models, the XJR575 gets a rear spoiler, side sills, front bumper and lower air intakes featuring gloss black surrounds. The XJR575 rides on 5 Split-Spoke ‘Style 5044’ gloss-black wheels that cover red brake calipers. Buyers have a choice of two colors: Velocity Blue or Satin Corris Gray.

The interior gets diamond-quilted leather seats with a “575” logo on the headrests and unique door sills.

“This is a performance vehicle, but that doesn’t mean we have had to cut any corners when it comes to comfort or design,” stated Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Director of Design. “Jaguar is the standard bearer for interior refinement and the XJR575 is no different. It can go very quickly, but it does so with the serene comfort customers expect from a Jaguar saloon. That makes this a very special car indeed.”
