Hyundai is going to show off its latest concept, the Le Fil Rouge concept this weekend at the Concours d’Elegance of America in Michigan. The stylish concept is a preview of Hyundai’s future, since it’s our first look at Hyundai’s new “Sensuous Sportiness” design theme.

The Hyundai Le Fil Rouge concept originally debuted earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, but this weekend buyers and Hyundai fans in the US will get to see it in person. Hyundai says that the Le Fil Rouge concept is a reinterpretation of its 1974 Coupe Concept, but more importantly it singals the beginning of the Sensuous Sportiness era for Hyundai design. Hyundai plans to use the Sensuous Sportiness design language to add more emotion into the design of its vehicles.

According to Hyundai, “Sensuous Sportiness is defined by the harmony between four fundamental elements in car design: proportion, architecture, styling, and technology.”

While the Le Fil Rouge concept was our first look at the Sensuous Sportiness design language, it won’t be our only preview. Hyundai has confirmed that we’ll get to see another concept later this year that will show off Hyundai’s new emotional design language.
