Honda Remix Concept Gives us a Hint of the New 2009 Honda Hybrid

Last week Honda announced that they are going to start production of the Honda FCX fuel-cell vehicle in 2008. The automaker also announced that they are going to release a mass-market hybrid that will be cheaper than the current Civic Hybrid.

The new Hybrid will be released within two years and Honda expects to produce 200,000 units a year.

According to Ken Keir, managing director of Honda UK and senior vice president of Honda Motor Europe, the new hybrid will draw inspiration from the Remix concept that was shown at the LA Auto Show last November. He also stated that although it will look similar to the Remix the overall design has moved past it.

The new Honda hybrid is expected in mid-2009.
