Not quite as big or as scary as Toyota’s recent recall, but still significant, Honda has announced a recall of 646,000 Honda Fit/ Jazz cars to fix a faulty window switch.
The recall involves a defective master switch, which could cause water to enter the window switch, which can lead to a fire. The recall comes after a child died when fire broke out in a car last year.
Honda is recalling 140,000 Fits in the U.S. and also includes vehicles in North America, South America, Europe, South Africa and Asia, but not Japan.
