Ever since the earthquake in Japan in March, Honda and Toyota have struggled to deliver cars to its US dealers, which has had a dramatic affect on sales. But despite the fact that GM and Ford have taken the sales lead in the past few months, Honda and Toyota still lead in car sales in the first six months of this year.
Ford’s F-Series and the Chevy Silverado trucks still lead the pack, but even though GM has held the number one selling car spot the past two months, Toyota’s Camry holds the number three spot for the last six months. The Honda Accord comes in fourth. The Ford Fusion comes in at number seven and the Chevy Cruze takes the ninth spot, followed by the Chevy Malibu at number ten.
