General Motors is moving beyond electric cars with the upcoming introduction of its new electric eBike. GM has unveiled two new eBikes, one that folds and a second compact bike, but GM wants your help to name its new eBike brand.
GM has announced that it’s asking fans around the world to help name its new eBike brand at www.eBikeBrandChallenge.com. The person that comes up with the winning name for GM’s new eBike brand will receive $10,000, while nine other runner-up submissions will receive $1,000 each.
“As an avid cyclist and urban commuter, I know how great it feels to get where I’m going easily and to show up sweat-free,” said Hannah Parish, director of General Motors Urban Mobility Solutions. “We blended electrification engineering know-how, design talents and automotive-grade testing with great minds from the bike industry to create our eBikes. Now we want to expand our thinking beyond the company walls and hear from people who like to move and have rad ideas.”
You have until November 26 to submit a name for the eBike brand and GM plans to announce the winning name in early 2019.
