Ford has trademarked the Adrenaline name in Canada, but what could it possibly be used for? Given Ford’s decision to kill off most of its car lineup, it’s clear that it won’t be used for a future car.

Could the Adrenaline name be used for a future Ford SUV, like the new baby Bronco? According to the trademark application, the Adrenaline name could be used for “motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, trucks, sport utility vehicles, off-road vehicles, and structural parts, fittings, and badges therefor.”

There’s also a chance that Ford may be working on a sportier trim level, like the previous Tremor and Lightning names that Ford used for high-performance versions of the F-150 in the past.

Stay tuned.
