Audi has pulled the wraps off the Concept C, a two-seat all-electric sports car that introduces the brand’s new design philosophy. The Concept C isn’t just a one-off showpiece—it’s a preview of where Audi design is headed, with styling cues and technology that will influence future production models.

Audi Concept C

At the front, the Concept C features a bold new look centered around a vertical frame grille, inspired by past icons like the Auto Union Type C and the third-generation Audi A6. This upright design element not only serves as the foundation for the car’s proportions but also showcases Audi’s new four-element light signature. Expect to see this lighting design define Audi models going forward.

The Concept C rides on proportions dictated by its central battery layout, giving it a low, wide stance. A strong shoulder line runs along the side, while the cabin sits far back for a classic sports car look. For the first time in an Audi roadster, an electrically retractable hardtop has been integrated into the design, allowing for both a sleek monolithic profile and open-air driving. Clean surfaces and horizontal slats highlight the rear, emphasizing the car’s athletic character.

Painted in “Titanium,” the Concept C’s exterior finish takes inspiration from the strength and lightness of the metal itself, adding to the car’s futuristic yet refined presence.

Inside, the Concept C follows a minimalist approach. The cabin is driver-focused but still leaves room for a passenger, with clean architectural surfaces and a warm atmosphere created by natural materials and ambient lighting. Instead of screens dominating the space, Audi has leaned into tactile “shy tech,” using high-quality physical controls with precise haptic feedback, including an intricately detailed steering wheel with real metal Audi rings at its center.

Technology is still present but seamlessly integrated. A 10.4-inch foldable center display provides information only when needed, supporting Audi’s goal of creating an intuitive, distraction-free user experience.

The Concept C signals more than just a styling exercise—it’s the starting point for Audi’s next era of design. Expect future Audi models to embrace the same clarity, simplicity, and emotional appeal first seen in this all-electric sports car.
