Truck sales are dead, which is bad news for Ford and Chrysler who are both launching all-new full size trucks this fall. Chrysler recently held a conference with dealers in which it announced that the all-new Dodge Ram will launch with zero percent financing for 72 months.
It’s a little scary that Chrysler is launching the all-new truck with the same zero interest financing that is currently offered on the outgoing model.
The 2009 Dodge Ram will be offered with three powertrains this fall, a 3.7L V6, a 4.7L V8 and a 390 horsepower 5.7L HEMI V8. A hybrid Ram will be released sometime next year as a 2010 model.
