According to Autocar Chevy is hard at work on a new crossover that will be based on the new Chevy Aveo. Details are scarce, but the crossover is being developed by GM Dat in Korea. The crossover will use a stretched version of the Aveo platform and will be offered in both all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive versions.
GM Dat design director Taewon Kim confirmed that the crossover will have the same family look as the new generation Chevy models. The small crossover is expected to debut sometime in 2012.
