The Chevy Silverado HD was redesigned last year, but Chevy has already given its workhorse some updates for the 2021 model year. The max tow rating has been increased to 36,000 pounds and several new towing technologies have been added to make towing easier.

The 2021 Silverado HD gets a jackknife alert system that lets you know if a trailer could potentially jackknife into the truck, while a trailer length indicator helps make changing lanes easier. There’s also a cargo-bed view enhancement which helps align and hook up a trailer.

There are also four special edition versions available: the Carhartt Special Edition, a Midnight Edition, Z71 Sport Edition and the Z71 Chrome Sport Edition.

The Carhartt Special Edition comes exclusively in Mosaic Black Metallic with Carhartt pinstripe detailing, Carhartt badging on the doors and tailgate, 20-inch wheels and a soft roll-up tonneau cover embossed with the Carhartt logo.
