With the growing competition, we might have thought that GM would have some bigger updates for the 2019 Chevy Bolt electric car, but it looks like its going to quietly move into the new model year with only a few small changes.
The full details about the 2019 Chevy Bolt have not been formally released yet, but the guys over at GM Authority have posted a leaked order guide that confirms the updates. For starters the 2019 Bolt loses two colors (Arctic Blue Metallic and Orange Burst Metallic), while it gains three new colors (Green Mist Metallic, Shock, and Slate Gray Metallic).
Fleet orders will now have a new smartphone interface for vehicle entry, start and operation, while a new Tire Fill Alert feature will make it easier to make sure the Bolt’s tires are at their optimum tire pressure. Lastly the Driver Confidence II package is now available on the LT trim level. The Driver Confidence II package adds a long list of safety features, like Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Front Pedestrian Braking, and IntelliBeam.
