While Cadillac’s sedan lineup is about to get smaller in the coming years, its crossover lineup will flourish with the introduction of at least two new crossovers, the XT4 and a three-row crossover that will reportedly be called the XT6. We’ll get to see the XT4 soon, since Cadillac has confirmed that it will unveil its small XT4 crossover at the upcoming 2018 New York Auto Show.
Cadillac recently confirmed to GM Authority that the 2019 XT4 crossover will make its formal debut at the New York Show, which makes sense, since Cadillac is now based in New York City and has used the show for other debuts, like the CT6. Other than the fact that the XT4 will be smaller than the XT5, not much is known about Cadillac’s new crossover. There’s a possibility that it could be based on GM’s E2 platform, which is also the basis for the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and 2018 Buick Regal.
The larger three-row Cadillac XT6 is expected to debut in 2019.
