This bit of news isn’t too surprising, but BMW has confirmed that the next-generation BMW 3 Series Wagon is not coming to the US. So if you’re looking for a German wagon in the US you’re options now just got even slimmer.
A BMW spokesman confirmed to CarBuzz, “BMW of North America has no plans to bring the next-generation 3-Series Sports Wagon to the U.S. market.”
BMW hasn’t confirmed why the 3 Series Wagon is dead in the US, but it’s likely because buyers prefer crossovers over wagons. So if you’re hoping to get a new 3 Series Wagon, the 2019 model year will be the last.
