BMW is going to reveal the BMW M2 Competition later this month at the Beijing Motor Show, but the good news is that the first batch of photos have already leaked online. The six-cylinder has been borrowed from the M2’s bigger sibling, the M4, which also means that it generates 45 more horsepower and 62 more lb-ft. than the standard M2. The M2 Competition will also reportedly reach 62 mph in 4.2 seconds with the dual-clutch automatic transmission, a tenth of a second quicker than the standard M2.

Even with the extra power under the hood, the BMW M2 Competition will not look too different than the standard M2. At the front there are some tweaks to the grille and bumper, but they are small. From what we can see thanks to the leaked photos, it appears that the M2 Competition will also ride on unique wheels and its side mirrors are different. Inside the M2 Competition also gets unique seats.
