BMW unveiled the 2020 BMW M340i last month at the LA Auto Show and now BMW has announced that it will starts at $54,995 when it arrives next summer.
The 2020 BMW M340i is powered by a 3.0L six-cylinder with 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque, which is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Th M340i reaches 60 mph in only 4.2 seconds. All that power is sent to the rear wheels by default, but if you want all-wheel drive it bumps the starting price up to $56,995 for the M340i xDrive.
Before the M340i arrives, the first version of the new 3 Series that we’ll get here in the US is the 2019 330i, which is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
Sadly BMW has also confirmed that it has no plans to bring the next-generation 3 Series wagon to the US.
