The 2019 BMW M2 Competition borrows its turbocharged six-cylinder from the M3 and M4 models. In the M2 it’s good for 405 hp and 406 lb-ft. of torque. With the dual-clutch transmission the M2 Competition can reach 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, while the manual takes 4.2 seconds. To help it get around the track even faster, you can opt for the M Performance suspension retrofit kit. The coil-spring suspension can be lowered by up to 20 millimeters and the damping technology can be independently adjusted for the compression stage and the rebound stage to reduce body roll.

Larger brakes are available with 6-piston fixed calipers on the front axle and 4-piston fixed calipers on the rear axle. To reduce weight, lighter 19 inch M Performance forged wheels in either Jet Black matte and Frozen Gold are available too. Lastly the M Performance exhaust system not only saves weight but has customizable sound.

To reduce the M2 Competition’s weight, there are several carbon fiber options, like a carbon fiber hood with a powerdome and a unique tailgate. Inside there’s an optional M Performance steering wheel and more carbon fiber accessories.
