Bentley has unveiled the new Continental GT3 race car, which is ready to compete in the 2018 motorsport season. Based on the 2019 Continental GT, the Continental GT3, but it’s gone on a significant diet to weigh in at 2,866 pounds.
The Continental GT3 is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that gets a redesigned dry sump system and all-new intake and exhaust systems. The 4.0L V8 generates a nice 500 horsepower.
To get it ready to race, the Bentley team made significant aerodynamic improvements to the exterior, like the addition of a insanely large rear wing and a front splitter. Plus the team also upgraded the suspension and braking systems.
The Continental GT3 has already started a six-month test program and will go on sale in June 2018.
