Last summer Audi unveiled the PB18 e-tron electric supercar concept during Monterey Car Week and although we haven’t heard much about it since its debut, Audi has just confirmed that it plans to build it.

Audi Holland’s CEO Bram Schot reportedly told a group of journalists that the PB18 e-tron will be built at a launch event for the Audi E-tron electric crossover. Autoweek Netherlands is reporting that Audi will build only 50 units of the PB18 e-tron.

The Audi PB18 e-tron concept is powered by three electric motors that generate a combined 671 horsepower and 612 lb-ft. of torque. There’s also an overboost function that boosts the horsepower temporarily to 764 horsepower. The PB18 e-tron concept can reach 62 mph in just over 2 seconds.

The concept has a driving range up to 310 milesĀ and can be recharged in only 15 minutes using an 800-volt charger.
