With a 600 hp 2.5L turbocharged five-cylinder engine and a 0–62 mph time of only 3.6 seconds, this isn’t just any regular Audi TT. At this year’s SEMA Show, Audi is showing off the Audi TT clubsport turbo concept, which is inspired by the Audi 90 IMSA GTO race car of the late 1980s.
With a top speed of 192.6 mph, the Audi TT clubsport turbo concept is an insane Audi TT. Besides the performance upgrades, the concept also looks the part with its angular fenders that widening the production vehicle by 5.5 in, and a manually-adjustable rear wing made from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer.
Audi is also going to show off its lineup of Audi Sport Performance Parts for the TT RS at the show. The parts enhance the TT RS in four areas: suspension, exhaust system, exterior and interior. The TT RS with Audi Sport Performance Parts features a two-way adjustable coilover suspension, additional chassis bracing, brake system enhancements, lightweight 20-inch wheels with high-performance sport tires, plus aerodynamic enhancements that produce additional downforce, and ducting which allows for additional brake cooling. Inside there’s an Audi Sport Performance steering wheel with carbon shift paddles.
The R8 LMS GT3 race car, which achieved a one-two result at the Nürburgring 24 Hours just weeks after debuting at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015 will also be at the show.
