Audi has revealed a new base trim level for the 2021 Audi A6, called the A6 Sport 45 TFSI. It’s priced at $56,445, including the destination charge. That means it’s $500 more than the previous base model, but it does arrive with a bit more power under the hood.

The A6 Sport is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, as the previous base model, but it now has 261 horsepower, compared to 248 hp. The torque rating stays the same at 273 pound-feet of torque and the engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.

The A6 Sport also gets progressive steering, with a variable ratio that becomes more direct as the steering angle increases.

On the outside it comes standard with the Black optic exterior package that adds a black optic grille, air intakes in black, black mirror housings, and black high-gloss exterior window trim. An available Sport package adds 20-inch 5-V-spoke-design wheels and a sport suspension.

Inside Fine Grain Ash natural wood inlays replace Walnut natural wood inlays, and a black headliner is now standard.
