Audi has unveiled the all-new 2019 Audi Q3 – the second generation of the small crossover. The 2019 Q3 ditches the cute styling from the first generation for a more grown up look with more tech features.

The first thing you’ll notice is that the 2019 Audi Q3 looks a lot more aggressive than the first generation. The 2019 Q3 borrows styling cues from the larger Q5 and Q8 crossovers. The biggest Q8 influence is at the front where the Q3’s grille looks similar to the Q8.

Compared to the first generation Q3, the 2019 Q3 is now 3.8-inches longer with three of those inches going between the wheels. The extra length provides more room for passengers and there’s 23.8 cu.ft of cargo space with the rear seat up. Fold the rear seat down and the Q3 now has 53.9 cubic feet of cargo space.

Inside the 2019 Q3’s interior looks far more modern than the first generation. In front of the driver there’s the 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit, while the infotainment system is accessed via an 8.8-inch or 10-inch screen in the center console. The infotainment system provides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and there’s an available Wi-Fi hotspot.

Under the hood the 2019 Audi Q3 will be available with three engine options, although the US version will likely get the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder. The four-cylinder will be mated to a seven speed dual clutch transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The 2019 Q3 will also offer a new six mode dynamic handling system with Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Off-Road, Efficiency, and Individual modes.

The 2019 Audi Q3 will go on sale in Europe in November by the end of the year, but US sales aren’t expected until sometime next year.
