Audi has just dropped more details about the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant. The new 2013 RS4 Avant is the third generation of the high-performance wagon, that was first introduced 12 years ago. It’s powered by a 4.2L V8 with 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a seven s-speed automatic transmission and the quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. According to Audi the 2013 RS4 Avant will reach 0-62 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a governed top speed of 155 mph, which can be increased to 174 mph.
The 2013 RS4 Avant also gets other modifications like a .sport suspension with a .79-in lower ride height, wave design brakes with carbon-fiver ceramic discs and front calipers that have eight pistons, 19-inch forged alloy wheels. Audi says that the new electromechanical power steering is highly efficient and provides excellent road feedback.
The RS 4 will arrive at dealerships this fall, with prices in Germany starting at €76,600. Unfortunately don’t expect this to be offered in the U.S.
