Ford has revealed the updates to the 2021 Ford Edge and the big news is the addition of a new 12-inch touchscreen. The standard touchscreen is easily the largest screen you can get in the Edge’s class and it runs on the new SYNC 4A system with built-in navigation and cloud connectivity.

The touchscreen is also fully customizable, since the driver can split the screen into smaller and larger windows. For example, if a customer wants to keep their navigation route on the screen while changing songs, they can choose to display the radio or other streaming music services in the smaller display area.

Cloud connectivity also enables conversational voice recognition. The SYNC 4A system also includes Wi-Fi enabled Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that gets rid of the need to plug in your mobile device.

The other updates to the 2021 Edge, include new wheel options, a Ceramic interior color on Titanium Elite models and a new Cloth interior option for the SEL trim level. Lastly there are two new exterior colors: Carbonized Gray and Lithium Gray.
