The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N has been unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, as the second vehicle in the brand’s growing lineup of performance EVs.

As an N car, the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N boasts a significant performance upgrade over the standard Ioniq 6. This includes the same powertrain as the Ioniq 5 N, featuring a dual-motor arrangement producing 601 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque. An “N Grin Boost” boost allows it to briefly generate 641 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque in ten-second bursts, while an N Launch Control mode allows the 6 N to rocket from 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds and hit a 160 mph top speed.
A fully redesigned suspension geometry and returned chassis give the 6 N improved, more precise handling. New stroke-sensing electronically controlled dampers incorporating various sensors allow the vehicle to dynamically adjust the damping force based on driving conditions.
Four-piston front brakes with 15.7-inch discs and single-piston rear brakes with 14.1-inch discs should be more than enough to bring the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N to a quick stop. Standard 20-inch dark-finished 5-spoke wheels will be shod in 275/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero 5 tires that were specially developed for the 6 N.
An 84.0-kWh battery pack will provide the electrons for all of that performance. While Hyundai did not provide any range numbers, it would be safe to assume it will achieve a similar 221-mile range to its sister car, the Ioniq 5 N.

The standard 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 ushered in extensive design updates, which carry forward into this new N series car, including new, more aggressive, linear headlights with pixel lighting details. Wider fenders wrap around unique glossy-black 20-inch alloy wheels, and a thick glossy black side skirt adds to the profile’s visual drama.

Around back, a large swan neck style rear wing provides 220 pounds of downforce at 150 mph and signals that this is no ordinary Ioniq 6, as does the aggressive glossy black rear bumper treatment and unique N-specific blacked-out center panel on the rear of the trunk lid.
The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N will be available in the now iconic Performance Blue Pearl, pictured in the press photos, Abyss Black Pearl, Nocturne Gray Metallic, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Gray Matte, and Gravity Gold Matte.

Like the exterior, the inside of the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N carries forward the same upgrades seen on standard Ioniq 6s while adding plenty of unique N-specific touches to let you know you’re driving something special. These touches include special black sports seats with Performance Blue accents similar to those found in the Ioniq 5 N, as well as a new steering wheel featuring shift paddles that work with Hyundai’s N e-Shift system that simulates gear shifts in an electric drivetrain.

New performance tech includes an N Track manager that lets you record and track your track performance, as well as a louder N Active Sound system that simulates the sounds of a gas-powered performance vehicle. Buyers will be able to choose between three different soundscapes, including a motorsport-inspired “ignition,” a more EV-focused one called “evolution,” and finally, a super futuristic one inspired by the world of sci-fi called “lightspeed.” A new tire pressure system lets you adjust the tires to your preferences on the fly, while a new N Ambient Shift Light tells you when to shift on both the instrument panel and the head-up display.
Hyundai has not yet provided pricing or availability information, but the 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N will likely launch in the US sometime later this year or early next year. The Ioniq 5 N starts at $67,800 including destination fee, so it would be safe to expect the 6 N to start somewhere in the same range.
