Kia has released the first teaser images of the all-new 2027 Kia Telluride, giving us an early look at the second generation of one of its most successful SUVs. The redesigned Telluride will make its world debut on November 20 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The teaser photos reveal an SUV with a more upright and squared-off design, showcasing a bold new interpretation of Kia’s Opposites United design language. Thin vertical LED lighting elements—illuminated in red and amber—frame a muscular silhouette that looks both rugged and refined.

Kia says the new Telluride’s styling draws inspiration from its namesake Colorado town, with sharply defined triangular fender creases meant to echo the chiseled peaks of the Rocky Mountains. A broad hood and clean body lines emphasize the SUV’s width, while a gently rising beltline meets a forward-angled D-pillar, giving the design a sense of motion even when stationary. Black accents at the top of the pillar create a “floating roof” effect.

Full details—including powertrains, interior updates, and new technology—will be revealed when Kia officially pulls the wraps off the 2027 Telluride on November 20 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
