The Toyota C-HR is back. If you don’t remember the C-HR, it was a small entry-level SUV that left the US market after the 2022 model year. Now the C-HR is returning, but it’s very different than the original.

The 2026 Toyota C-HR is now only offered as an EV with dual electric motors that give it a combined output of 338 horsepower. Toyota says all that power will give the new C-HR a 0-60 mph time of around 5 seconds. If you’re keeping track, this means that the C-HR has the same power as the top spec 2026 bZ, while the larger bZ is offered in less powerful single motor versions.
The C-HR has a 74.7-kWh battery and an 11-kW on-board charger. The standard NACS charging port provides access to Tesla’s Supercharging network. Using a fast charger, the C-HR can be charged from 10-80 percent in about 30 minutes.
Inside the C-HR’s interior looks pretty similar to the bZ with a 14-inch touchscreen and two wireless phone chargers. A JBL audio system with 9 speakers, an 800-watt amplifier and a 9-inch subwoofer is available.

The 2026 Toyota C-HR BEV is slated to arrive in 2026 and will be offered in two trim levels: SE and XSE.
