The all-new Toyota C-HR is back — but this time, it’s fully electric.
The 2026 Toyota C-HR will join its expanding EV lineup when it goes on sale next month, slotting in alongside the updated bZ and new bZ Woodland. Unlike the previous gas-powered C-HR, this new version returns as a compact electric SUV with standard dual-motor all-wheel drive and 338 horsepower, Toyota estimates a 0–60 mph time of 4.9 seconds.

Power comes from a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery. The EPA-estimated range checks in at:
- 287 miles for the SE with 18-inch wheels
- 273 miles for the XSE with 20-inch wheels
Every C-HR comes standard with a North American Charging System (NACS) port, giving it access to Tesla Superchargers and other compatible DC fast-charging stations. Toyota says it can charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes using DC fast charging.
Built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA EV platform, the new C-HR features a sleek, coupe-like profile with Toyota’s hammerhead front-end design. It measures 177.9 inches long with a 108.3-inch wheelbase. Cargo capacity is rated at 25.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 59.5 cubic feet with the 60/40 split-folding seats folded flat.

Inside, the 2026 C-HR features a modern layout anchored by a standard 14-inch touchscreen and a digital gauge cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with available JBL premium audio on the XSE.
The 2026 C-HR will be available in two trim levels, SE and XSE. The pricing for the C-HR SE starts at $38,450 and the XSE is priced at $40,450.

Standard features on the SE include:
- Dual wireless phone chargers
- Heated front seats and steering wheel
- Power liftgate
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Toyota Safety Sense 3.0
- Front and rear parking assist with automatic braking
- Blind Spot Monitor
The XSE adds:
- 20-inch wheels
- SofTex and synthetic suede upholstery
- Power passenger seat with memory
- Traffic Jam Assist
- Lane Change Assist
- Panoramic View Monitor
