This week Toyota has already unveiled the refreshed 2026 bZ and the 2026 C-HR, now it’s unveiled a third EV, the bZ Woodland. While it does borrow part of its name from the bZ, the bZ Woodland is a larger, more rugged and capable EV.

It’s also easy to see that the bZ Woodland is basically the Toyota version of the recently introduced Subaru Trailseeker. Compared to the bZ, the bZ Woodland is nearly six inches longer and there’s just under 1-inch of additional height in the rear, which gives it 30 cubic feet of cargo space. It also looks more rugged with wide, black overfenders, standard roof rails and unique 18-inch wheels.

The bZ Woodland is powered by a dual motor powertrain with 375 horsepower, which is more than the 338 hp the bZ offers. There’s also 8.3-inches of ground clearance and a 3,500 pound towing capacity.

The BZ Woodland has a driving range up to 260 miles and comes standard with the NACS charging port, which gives drivers access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. Toyota says that the bZ Woodland can be charged from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes using a fast charger.

Inside the interior looks pretty similar to the bZ and C-HR with its 14-inch touchscreen and dual wireless charging pads.

The bZ Woodland will only be offered in one trim level, but there is a Premium Package that adds a JBL audio system, a fixed glass panoramic roof, digital rearview mirror, ventilated front seats and memory driver seat/side view mirrors. All-Terrain tires are also available.

The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is slated to arrive in early 2026.
