The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is almost here, since it is slated to arrive at dealers in March. Designed to look and feel more adventurous than the standard bZ, the Woodland adds standard dual-motor all-wheel drive, more ground clearance, and a more rugged design.
The bZ Woodland features a dual-motor AWD setup with 375 horsepower, that makes it the most powerful bZ model yet. Toyota estimates a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds. EPA-estimated driving range is rated at up to 281 miles. Opt for the available all-terrain tires and that figure drops to 260 miles.
Unlike many “rugged-looking” trims that are mostly cosmetic, the bZ Woodland adds meaningful capability. It features:
- 8.4 inches of ground clearance
- Standard X-MODE with Grip Control for improved traction
- Up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity
- Available all-terrain tires
Visually, the Woodland sets itself apart from the standard bZ with black overfenders, a slightly raised rear profile, and a longer body. It’s nearly six inches longer than the regular bZ and just under an inch taller in the rear.
That added length translates into more cargo space. With the second row folded flat, the bZ Woodland offers 74.3 cubic feet of storage, compared to 67.1 cubic feet in the standard model.
It rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels with black aero covers.
The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is powered by a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery and features a North American Charging System (NACS) port for DC fast charging compatibility. Toyota estimates a 10% to 80% charge can take about 30 minutes on a Level 3 DC fast charger.
Inside, the bZ Woodland features a spacious cabin with a standard 14-inch touchscreen with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
