Jeep has updated the 2026 Grand Cherokee lineup with a new 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo engine, fresh styling inside and out, and an upgraded infotainment system. The move marks a new era for the Grand Cherokee, which continues to offer two-row, three-row (Grand Cherokee L), and plug-in hybrid versions.

The biggest change for 2026 is the introduction of Jeep’s new 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo, replacing the V6 in some models. The engine produces 324 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, giving the Grand Cherokee a strong balance of power and efficiency. Jeep says it can tow up to 6,200 pounds and travel up to 506 miles on a single tank.

Inside, the 2026 Grand Cherokee adds a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, part of an upgraded cabin design. Other available features include a 10.25-inch front passenger display, Active Driving Assist, and an optional McIntosh 19-speaker premium audio system.
Exterior changes include a refreshed seven-slot grille, new headlights, updated fascias, and three new paint colors — Steel Blue, Copper Shino, and Fathom Blue.
Jeep has streamlined the 2026 Grand Cherokee lineup to Laredo, Limited, and Summit trims.
- Laredo Altitude adds a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Selec-Terrain 4×4 system, and new safety tech like Traffic Sign Recognition and Intersection Collision Assist.
- Limited builds on that with leatherette upholstery, Silver Silk accents, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, and ambient lighting. Options include the Limited Reserve and Limited Altitude packages with larger wheels, Nappa leather, ventilated seats, a dual-pane sunroof, and upgraded interior materials.
- Summit, the top trim, adds Palermo leather, massaging front seats, a suede headliner, Quadra-Trac II 4×4 system with air suspension, and the McIntosh audio system.

The 2026 Grand Cherokee L returns with the same simplified trims and third-row USB ports.
The Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrid is also available with up to 470 miles of range and 470 lb-ft of torque. Lastly the Trailhawk trim remains the most off-road capable model with class-leading approach and departure angles.
