About a month ago, Jeep revealed the first photos of the 2026 Jeep Cherokee. This marks the return of the Cherokee, which was discontinued in 2023. Now Jeep has released another photo of the new Cherokee, which shows off the rear of the midsize SUV.

Details are slim, but the new Cherokee is expected to be based on Stellantis’s STLA Large Transverse platform. Jeep has already confirmed that it will be offered with a hybrid powertrain, but we’ll have to wait and see if a fully electric Cherokee is also in the works.

Jeep says that the 2026 Cherokee is coming in late 2025, so we’ll have to wait until then to get all the details.
