Honda is giving the Pilot a refresh for 2026, rolling out upgrades that improve the family SUV’s tech, refinement and everyday usability. The refreshed Pilot arrives with a redesigned front end, a much larger touchscreen, a quieter cabin, and some other small improvements.

The biggest update for 2026 is inside. Honda has finally addressed one of the Pilot’s weak points: the small infotainment screen. Every model now gets a huge 12.3-inch HD touchscreen, paired with a larger 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard, along with Google built-in and 5G Wi-Fi capability.

Honda also tackled cabin noise with new semi-tempered door glass, extra insulation and revised fender liners on higher trims, the 2026 Pilot is rated 2–3 decibels quieter at key frequencies. Touring, Elite and Black Edition trims all get upgraded interior materials, with new Ultra-Suede accents and diamond stitching at the top of the lineup. A brown leather interior is now available on Touring, Elite and TrailSport.

On the outside the 2026 Pilot gets bolder styling cues, including a larger grille and more aggressive scuff plates. The EX-L trim level gets standard roof rails. There are some new colors—Solar Silver Metallic, Smoke Blue Pearl and TrailSport-exclusive Ash Green Metallic. Touring, Elite and Black Edition trims also get new machine-finished or Berlina Black 20-inch wheels. TrailSport now features orange accents on the rear PILOT badge.

Under the hood, the 2026 Pilot carries over the same 3.5-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 10-speed automatic. To make it better to drive, Honda retuned the electric power steering system.
