Ford is expanding the F-150 Lightning lineup with the debut of the new 2026 F-150 Lightning STX, a trim that blends rugged design with more driving range—two things customers have been asking for since the truck’s launch.

The STX replaces the previous XLT trim and comes standard with dual motors and an extended-range battery, delivering a targeted 290 miles of range, plus 536 horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque. A rear electronic locking differential is also included to boost off-road performance.

To give the STX a tougher look, Ford borrowed parts from the gas-powered F-150 lineup, including the off-road running boards from the Tremor, new wheels, and all-terrain tires. A revised grille with a Grabber Blue accent, along with STX-specific hood and bedside graphics, set it apart visually.

Inside, the Lightning STX features cloth seats embroidered with the “STX” logo in Grabber Blue, a heated steering wheel, and the option of a black vinyl floor for buyers who plan to put their truck to work.

Ford is also adding new color options for 2026, including Argon Blue, Marsh Gray, and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, alongside carryover shades like Oxford White, Antimatter Blue Metallic, and Carbonized Gray Metallic.
