Ford is expanding its lineup of off-road SUVs with the debut of the 2026 Ford Explorer Tremor. Building on the rugged reputation of models like the F-150 Tremor, the new Explorer Tremor brings enhanced off-road capability and bold styling to the three-row SUV segment.

The Explorer Tremor is the most off-road-focused version of the Explorer yet, equipped with underbody skid plates, a 1-inch lifted suspension with Tremor-specific springs, and Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tires wrapped around unique 18-inch black wheels. A distinctive “Electric Spice” orange trim on the wheels, grille, and front tow hooks helps it stand out.
Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 300 horsepower comes standard. For buyers seeking more power, Ford offers an available twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential for improved traction on rugged terrain.
Inside, the 2026 Explorer Tremor features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and orange accent stitching to match its adventurous persona.
Ford has yet to announce 2026 Explorer Tremor pricing, but the off-road SUV is expected to arrive at dealerships later this year.
