Chevy has announced the updates to the 2026 Silverado EV lineup with the biggest news being the addition of a new Trail Boss trim level. The Silverado EV Trail Boss features more capability for when you’re hitting the trails.

The Silverado EV Trail Boss has a 2-inch lift, which is 24% higher than the base Silverado EV. It also has a unique coil spring suspension with a hydraulic rebound control system. The Trail Boss also gets an exclusive Terrain mode that helps the driver maneuver at low speeds when off-roading.

The Trail Boss has up to 725 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque with the Max Range battery pack. It can tow up to 12,500 lbs and has a driving range up to 478 miles.
On the outside, the Silverado EV Trail Boss gets a unique front fascia, 35-inch all-terrain tires with special 18-inch wheels and red tow hooks.
