Porsche has unveiled the latest version of the 992 generation 911, the 2021 911 Targa 4 and Targa 4S models. Just like the last Porsche 911 Targa, the latest version retains the Targa roll bar and retractable roof, which can be closed or opened in only 19 seconds.
The 911 Targa 4 and 4S are powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six engine that generates 379 horsepower and 331 lb-ft. of torque in the Targa 4 and 443 horsepower and 390 lb-ft. in the Targa 4S. Both models send the power to all four wheels via either a seven-speed manual transmission or a eight-speed dual-clutch PDK.
With the optional Sport Chrono package, the Targa 4 takes 4.2 seconds to zoom from 0-62 mph, while the Targa 4S only takes 3.6 seconds to reach 62 mph.
The 2021 Porsche 911 Targa 4 starts at $120,650 and the Targa 4S is priced at $136,550.
