If you’ve been waiting to hear how much the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is going to cost, we have good news for you today. The Mustang Mach 1 starts at $52,915, including the destination fee, which makes it around $4,000 more expensive than the outgoing Bullitt, but also almost $9,000 cheaper than the GT350.
The Mustang Mach 1 is powered by an upgraded 5.0-liter V8 with 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet. of torque. Thankfully that power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, although a ten-speed automatic is optional. It also gets some parts from the Shelby GT350, like its diffuser, rear-axle cooling system and some suspension parts.
An optional Handling Package is also available on the manual-equipped version. It gets various aero parts to boost downforce by 150 percent compared to the Mustang GT and it also rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2Â tires.
There’s also an optional Appearance Package that adds accent stripes with black side and hood stripes.
