Today Volvo took the wraps off 2019 Volvo XC40 Inscription, the most luxurious version fo the compact crossover. While the Inscription trim level may be priced out of reach for some younger buyers, Volvo has announced that a cheaper Volvo XC40 T4 model will arrive this summer.
The 2019 Volvo XC40 T4 will be powered by a 187 horsepower T4 cylinder engine that will send its power to the front wheels. The best part is that the new XC40 T4 starts at $33,200, which is $2,000 cheaper than the XC40 T5. Volvo hasn’t announced the pricing difference for the Care by Volvo subscription service.
A hybrid and pure electric version of the XC40 will be added later.
If the XC40 Inscription is more your style, it comes with unique 18-, 19-, 20-, or 21-inch wheels, unique skid plates, chrome trim, integrated dual tailpipes, and in unique colors. Inside, XC40 Inscription adds a Orrefors crystal gear shift and Driftwood deco.
