Kia is getting ready to unveil the all-new 2019 Kia K900 and to get us ready for its debut, Kia has released two sketches of the flagship sedan. Kia hasn’t announced when the new K900 will debut, but given the fact that it’s scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter of this year, we’ll most likely see it later this month at the New York Auto Show.
The 2019 Kia K900 was designed by Kia’s design teams in Namyang, Korea and Irvine, California, which is the result of an effort to make the sedan more appealing in different markets. Kia’s designers were inspired by the “Gravity of Prestige” design concept, for its luxury and poise. Kia further explains that the 2019 K900’s design has been inspired by the dynamic flow of nature and energy.
At the front there’s a new ‘Quadric pattern’ signature grille with 176 jewel-like cells within the grille, suggestive of released energy accelerating away from its center. The design of the ‘Duplex comet’ headlights has been “influenced by the trajectory of light.”
