Henrik Fisker will debut his next electric car, the Fisker Emotion in January at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show. Fisker has already released photos and preliminary specs for the new Emotion, but we’ll finally get to see it in a few months.
Henrik Fisker revealed to The Street that the Emotion will be shown alongside Fisker’s new technology, which includes an energy-dense battery pack, Ultracharger charging station, and the built-in Lidar sensing system. The Fisker Emotion will be able to travel up to 400 miles on a single charge and its new Ultracharger will add up to 125 miles of range in a mere nine minutes. Eventually the Emotion will also offer Level 4 autonomous driving capability.
Pricing for the Emotion will start at $129,900 and you can already reserve it with a $2,000 deposit. Even though reservations are already being taken for the Emotion, Fisker doesn’t plan on delivering the first units until sometime in 2019. Fisker also has plans to introduce a cheaper Emotion in 2020, which will have a more attainable price around $34,000 before any tax incentives.
