European site All The Cars got its hands on a few patent images that reveals that the styling of the 2019 BMW X7 won’t differ too far from the X7 iPerformance concept. At the front the X7’s face gets a new take on the double kidney grille. As you move to the side, the X7’s profile is also similar to the concept with its elongated profile that makes room for the standard three rows of seats. At the rear the more conservative bumper features dual exhausts, although the taillights are similar.

BMW hasn’t revealed what will power the 2019 X7, but it’s expected that it will get the same engine lineup as the 2019 X5. That means that base versions will get the turbocharged 3.0L six-cylinder, while buyers that want more power can choose the turbocharged 4.4L V8. European buyers will also get to choose at least one diesel engine and eventually a X7 plug-in hybrid will be added to the lineup.

It’s being reported that BMW will likely unveil the 2019 BMW X7 in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
