Last night two leaked photos of the 2019 BMW X5 leaked online, but we weren’t sure about their authenticity. Well now we have a full batch of photos of the all-new 2019 X5, thanks to a forum in China, which gives an early look at the inside and outside.

The 2019 BMW X5 is expected to make its world debut this fall at the Paris Motor Show, but it looks like BMW may have to release some info first to coincide with all the early photos leaks. As expected, the design of the new X5 is more evolutionary without any big significant design changes, with design elements taken from the X3 and X4. At the front the new grille is a little closer to the new X7.

Inside the dashboard features a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a full digital instrument cluster, but overall the new interior again isn’t a big departure from the current X5.

Under the skin the 2019 X5 will ride on BMW’s CLAR platform, which is shared by the 7 Series. According to some early details, the 2019 X5 will grow a bit, with its length being stretched by 1.4-inches and its width increasing by 2.6-inches. The new X5’s wheelbase is also 1.65-inches longer. Even with its extra metal, the 2019 X5 is expected to be significantly lighter than the current model.

The 2019 X5 will get a range of four-, six- and eight-cylinder engines. The most powerful version will be the X5 M with its twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8.

Stay tuned.
