Although we don’t know if Audi is planning another R8, but that doesn’t matter right now, since Audi is giving the 2019 R8 a facelift. The 2019 Audi R8 gets a more aggressive exterior, more power and even updates to its suspension.
On the outside, the 2019 Audi R8 has been refreshed with a new front face that includes a a wider, flatter singleframe grille, which is flanked by larger air intakes and more aggressive headlights. The front splitter is now wider as well. At the rear the 2019 R8 gets a new grille. There are also two new colors: Kemora Gray and Ascari Blue.
The 2019 R8 continues to be powered by a V10 engine and it’s is more powerful than before. The base V10 generates 562 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque, while the top version generates 612 hp and 428 lb-ft. The top R8 coupe can reach 62 mph in 3.1 seconds or while the R8 Spyder reaches the same speed in 3.2 seconds. The R8 coupe can reach a top speed of 206 mph, while the R8 Spyder can reach up to 204 mph. Underneath the skin, the R8’s suspension has been retuned.
The 2019 Audi R8 will arrive early next year.
