Audi is going to reveal the 2019 Audi Q8 flagship SUV tomorrow at the Audi Brand Summit in Shenzhen, China, but here are the first official photos now. These photos confirm that the 2019 Q8 will remain pretty close to the Q8 and Q8 Sports concept that previewed it.
The 2019 Audi Q8 is based on the same platform as the family friendly Q7, but it’s ditched some of the practicality of the Q7 for a sportier look. At the front the Q8’s face has the boldest interpretation yet of the Singleframe grille, which is flanked by thin LED headlights.
As you move to the side you’ll see a more coupe-like roofline that may sacrifice some headroom, but it’s sleeker than the Q7. At the rear the Q8’s taillights are similar to the new A7.
We’ll get all the details tomorrow, but it’s reported that the 2019 Audi Q8 will get a range of gasoline and diesel engines with 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
Stay tuned.
