2018 Ford Mustang Bullitt

An unnamed source has reportedly confirmed that Ford will reveal the 2018 Ford Mustang Bullitt next week at the Detroit Auto Show. Ford has not made any announcements about the 2018 Mustang Bullitt, but a source confirmed the debut to the Automotive News.

The debut is expected to be timed with the 50th anniversary of the Steve McQueen movie that made the special Mustang famous. The car chase in the 1968 Bullitt movie with McQueen’s Highland Green Mustang GT 390 fastback made the car an icon. The 2018 Mustang Bullitt will likely feature the same dark green paint, as well as the five-spoke black wheels, like the Mustang in the movie.

Although Ford hasn’t confirmed the 2018 Mustang Bullitt, rumors about it have been going on for months. Recently a a dark green 2018 Mustang was caught during a commercial shoot in Chicago, which is believed to be the new Mustang Bullitt. Luckily a forum member on Mustang6G.com managed to capture a few shots of it.
